Now Playing Tracks

Super Sunday

I’ll be contacting the Berkeley High School team today for the BioEHS High School Competition! I wonder what sort of ideas they’ve come up with. When I was in high school, I thought about using “nanoworms” to treat glioblastoma multiforme.

No one’s showed up yet for my BioEHS study group session for Biology 1A…so I’m not sure if Mike Meighan has made a bSpace announcement (yet). I’ll be giving out a Lindt truffle to anyone who shows up in the first 10 minutes of the session.

My E45 midterm is next Wednesday, so it’s time to see what an “open-everything” exam feels like. Unfortunately, I’ll have an E45 lab right after the midterm.

I’m meeting with Rahul to learn more about a summer research program in Singapore.

March Update

Professor Schaffer responded to my email…and it appears that Schaffer Lab is currently full as well. I turned my SURP applications in yesterday, and I’ll be getting a responses by April 18 (if anyone wants me as an undergraduate peon). If I don’t have summer research, at least I’ll have the World Cup to look forward to.
